5 States in USA now have Laws or Regulations that allow operation of electric vehicles at 35 MPH, this class of vehicles is defined as MSV.

However Federal Law has no equivalent definition !

If you want to change this "legal confusion" make your comment in support of MSV on NHTSA Docket (NHTSA-2008-0154) and make MSV the future possible alternative to Gasoline powered vehicles for local in city transportation.
